Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is a cell surface protein that is highly expressed on the surface of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) present in the tumor microenvironment of most epithelial cancers, whereas limited expression of FAP is observed in normal tissues. In some cancers of mesenchymal origin, notably sarcoma and mesothelioma, FAP expression has also been observed on the tumor cells themselves. Given the restricted expression profile, FAP is a promising target for peptide-targeted radionuclide imaging and therapeutic agents. Phase 1 of this study is designed to evaluate the safety and establish the recommended intravenous (IV) Phase 2 dose (RP2D) for [177Lu]Lu FAP 2286 monotherapy in participants with FAP expressing solid tumors. Phase 2 is designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of [177Lu]Lu FAP 2286 as monotherapy in participants with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and breast cancer (BC) and in combination with chemotherapy in participants with untreated PDAC or relapsed NSCLC. Although extensively studied, the cause of preeclampsia remains uncertain other than it is thought that the placenta plays a critical role in the development of preeclampsia. Recent data revealed that exosomes released from the placenta could cause preeclampsia by transporting specific cargo responsible for the pathophysiological changes associated with the systemic disease. By isolating these exosomes from maternal blood and placental tissue in patients diagnosed with preeclampsia and studying their biochemical, cellular and molecular mechanism in an animal model, the investigators hope to elucidate the critical role that exosomal cargo plays in the development of preeclampsia and cardiovascular remodeling. This will be accomplished by obtaining patient samples from volunteers delivering at the Women and Infants Center and taking the samples to the lab for quantification, characterization, and identification of key functional roles through in/ex vivo, in vitro, and profiling studies. The investigators believe this work will be valuable as hope exists to define the functional role exosomes play in the development of preeclampsia that leads to cardiovascular remodeling. Data from this study will shed more light on the functional role of exosomal cargo in normal and pathological pregnancies and point towards novel therapeutic intervention strategies for preeclampsia associated with cardiovascular disease. This research study evaluates a prescription eye drop called Vevye® (cyclosporine 0.1%) for adults who have meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), a common eye condition that can cause dry, irritated, or burning eyes. If you join the study, after a short "run-in" period using artificial tears, you will receive Vevye twice a day for about 24 weeks (approximately six months). During that time you will attend several clinic visits where your eye symptoms, lid health, tear film, and meibomian gland function will be assessed. The goal is to learn whether Vevye improves symptoms (like eye dryness or irritation) and signs (such as changes on the eye's surface or lid margins) of MGD. You will also be monitored for safety and comfort of the eye drop. The information obtained from this study may help determine whether this treatment is beneficial for people with this condition and contribute to future care options. To date, randomized trials of low-concentration atropine eyedrops and specially designed spectacle lenses to slow the progression of myopia are limited in number and results are inconsistent in non-Asian children. Although results of some recent randomized clinical trials outside the US are promising, additional studies in children are needed to test the safety and efficacy of low-concentration atropine and specially designed spectacle lenses as treatments to slow the progression of myopia during the peak years for eye growth. After a run-in phase to demonstrate adherence with nightly eyedrops (artificial tears) and spectacle correction, children 5 to <12 years old with myopia of 0.75D to 6.00D cycloplegic spherical equivalent refractive error (SER) and at least 0.75D myopia in both principal meridians of each eye will be randomized in a 2x2 factorial design to treatment with 1) nightly 0.05% atropine or placebo eyedrops, and 2) spectacles with highly aspherical lenslet target (H.A.L.T.) MAX technology or single vision spectacles, and followed every six months for 24 months. Change in axial length over 24 months and change in SER over 24 months are the primary and secondary outcomes, respectively. All children will return for a visit at 30 months (after 6 months of no treatment other than single-vision spectacles alone between 24 and 30 months). The study is funded by the National Eye Institute, part of the NIH, and coordinated by the Jaeb Center for Health Research on behalf of PEDIG. This phase II trial evaluates whether genetic testing in prostate cancer is helpful in deciding which study treatment patients are assigned. Patient cancer tissue samples are obtained from a previous surgery or biopsy procedure and tested for deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA) abnormalities or mutations in their cancer. Valemetostat tosylate is in a class of medications called EZH1/EZH2 inhibitors. It blocks proteins called EZH1 and EZH2, which may help slow or stop the spread of tumor cells. Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works in a way similar to the anticancer drug cisplatin, but may be better tolerated than cisplatin. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Cabazitaxel injection is in a class of medications called microtubule inhibitors. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of tumor cells. Abiraterone acetate blocks tissues from making androgens (male hormones), such as testosterone. This may cause the death of tumor cells that need androgens to grow. It is a type of anti-androgen. Enzalutamide is in a class of medications called androgen receptor inhibitors. It works by blocking the effects of androgen (a male reproductive hormone) to stop the growth and spread of tumor cells. The purpose of this study is to assess sense of control and catastrophic symptom expectations as targets for Retraining and Control Therapy (ReACT- an intervention focused on changing behaviors and thoughts) for treatment of adult psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES, episodes resembling epileptic seizures but with no correlated epileptiform activity). 19 years and older participants diagnosed with PNES who are treated at UAB FND clinic will engage in twelve sessions of ReACT. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three conditions: no wait, 3-month waiting period, 6-month waiting period. Sense of control over actions will be measured by the magic and turbulence task, a well-validated measure of sense of control. Participants will complete the cold pressor test (CPT) in which participants hold their hand in cool water for as long as possible up to 3 minutes. Catastrophic symptom expectations in response to the CPT will be measured by Pain Catastrophizing Scale (PCS), pain tolerance (time with hand in water) and cortisol response. Target assessments occur 7 days before treatment and 7 days after the 12th treatment session. Participants randomized to the 3-month and 6-month waiting period will also complete these measures one additional time immediately before the beginning of their waiting period. Long term follow-up assessments will occur at 2 months, 6 months and 12 months after the 12th treatment session. PNES frequency will be measured from 30 days before to 12 months after treatment.
